TRANSFORMED!    From a 23 year old rimu kitchen with formica benchtops redesigned to a modern style with basically the same footprint.  Creating more bench space was a key requirement together with creating 'zones'.  Stunning Titanium Gold granite from Italian Stone was used for the benchtops, waterfall ends and as the splashback - creating a piece of art behind the hob which is highlighted at night by LED strip lighting concealed in the base of the overhead lift up cupboards.  Neutral Alabaster lacquer cabinetry with alumunium strip handles create sleek lines to the Blum Legrabox soft close drawers.  The overhead cabinets are all soft closing with shelving and dividers as per the client's requirements.  The under-sink drawer is electric opening giving automatic access to bins - a bonus when hands are messy as there's no need to pull the handle.  Increasing the depth of the sink bench by 100mm allowed for deeper drawers and ample space for the tap and sink.

Sage Doors aluminium roller doors cleverly conceal both the onbench 'breakfast and small appliance' zone and the 'coffee/phone/cup storage' zone.  All drawers are accessorised with Blum dividers, plate holders, spice racks and more.  The Blum pull out soft closing pantry drawers fully extend offering easy access, and each drawer holds up to a weight of 40kg.

Hard to access corners are now easily accessible with Hafele Magic Corner systems.

Creating zones in the kitchen has allowed a busy family to use the space without being in the way of one another.
